GNOME 3.8 Officially Released

The GNOME 3.8 Shell, Mutter, GTK+, and other 3.8 components of the GNOME Project were released on Wednesday.

Matthias Clasen announced the official GNOME 3.8 release on the mailing list. "GNOME 3.8 is the fourth major update of GNOME 3. It builds on the foundations that we have laid with the previous 3.x releases and offers a greatly enhanced experience. The exciting new features and improvements in this release include a integrated application search, privacy and sharing settings, notification filtering, a new classic mode, OwnCloud integration, previews of clocks, notes, photos and weather applications, and many more."
