Arch-Based Manjaro Prepares For Next Release

Philip Müller announced the Manjaro 0.8.7 Xfce preview release this morning. The aim is to ship Manjaro 0.8.7 in about late July. This next release is still using the Xfce 4.10 desktop but has replaced the Xfce menu with the Whisker Menu. The Manjaro developers also updated their Manjaro Settings Manager and pulled in a newer version of Pacmac, a graphical version of the Pacman package manager for Arch. The Linux 3.9 kernel is being used while the web-browser is Midori and Sylpheed provides the email functionality.
More details on the Manjaro 0.8.7 preview release can be found at Manjaro.org. If you missed it I've also done Manjaro vs. Ubuntu benchmarks.
