Mesa 9.1.3 was released today to address some outstanding bugs back-ported from the current Mesa 9.2 development code.

While running Mesa Git is always the most interesting for Linux enthusiasts and hardware tweakers, for those living in a conservative and stable world, Mesa 9.1.3 is out in the wild. The current Mesa 9.2 development code already carries Radeon Gallium3D improvements, Intel driver performance improvements, the Freedreno Gallium3D driver, Radeon UVD support, and much more. These are features not found in Mesa 9.1.

New to Mesa 9.1.3 are fixes concerning Second Life, a hang with glxgears for Sandy Bridge, some Piglit problems, a Mesa performance regression for KDE's KWin Lanczos shader, the Solaris OS build breaking, a EGL X11 regression, and some OpenGL ES bugs.

More details on the Mesa 9.1.3 bug-fix release can be found from the release announcement and the committed notes.
