Linux 3.9-rc6 Released; Linux 3.9 Will Come In ~2 Weeks

The Linux 3.9-rc6 kernel was released over the night. With Linus expecting next week's 3.9-rc7 kernel to be the last test release, the final release of the Linux 3.9 kernel is expected in about two weeks time.

The 3.9-rc6 kernel is characterized by "mostly boring" work over the past week wit hlots of small fixes and a couple of reverts. There isn't anything too particularly exciting, as Linus confirms within his mailing list announcement.
