As expected, a Valve engineer spoke at UDS today about their forthcoming Steam client for Linux release.

Ubuntu Developer Summit attendees will be granted beta access to the Steam client and the initial launch titles. Those not at UDS in Copenhagen can apply to be part of the Valve Linux beta test.

Drew Bliss also talked about the usual stuff that I've been writing about for months with the company not liking Windows 8, etc.

Expect more Valve Linux news soon.
