Aside from generally releasing late another de facto tradition for the Fedora Project has been unique codenames for each release. It looks like the Fedora 19 codename will continue in this manner.

Last night the Fedora 19 codename proposal period ended and now Red Hat's onto coming up with the list of potential F19 codenames that will be voted upon.

Among the many "unique" names being proposed for Fedora 19 include Rhino-masked Platypus, KALIFalKon, Steam Boiler, Parabolic Potassium, Prime Rib, Boiling Frog, Gabelstaplerfahrer, Vampiric Squid, Rectilinear Kitten, and Conical Chicken.

Those curious about the name suggestions can see this Fedora Wiki page.

Fedora 18 is codenamed the Spherical Cow while Fedora 17 was codenamed Beefy Miracle.
