Intel X.Org Driver Gets A Number Of Core Bug-Fixes

Chris Wilson released the xf86-video-intel 2.20.10 DDX driver this weekend and it fixes up a number of core graphics driver bugs, including issues for older generations of Intel integrated graphics hardware.

"The last couple of weeks have been fairly retrospective, a dive into prehistory tidying up the earlier generations which lay languishing as the core progressed and lead to a number of annoying core bugs being fixed," reads the release commit by Chris.

Among the fixes for v2.20.10 are releasing the DRM master earlier in the shutdown process so multiple X Servers work simultaneously, fixes to i8xx batch emission, UXA fixes, crash fixes, compilation fixes for older versions of glibc, a batch buffer overflow fix, render corruption, and much more.
