Fedora Will Indeed Replace MySQL With MariaDB

At the recent Fedora Engineering & Steering Committee, per the meeting minutes, the features were approved for F19 development including Ruby 2.0, replacing MySQL with MariaDB, and more.
The only features coming under contention were the first-class cloud images, which have been deferred to as a discussion item for this week, and shared system certificates that were ultimately approved.
In regards to the other F19 features, "AGREED: All features from #1025 will be accepted as F19 features except FirstClassCloudImages and SharedSystemCertificates which shall be discussed separately (+9,0)."
In terms of the F19 features, see this feature recap article.
