Xen Virtualization On ARM Hits New Milestone

Stefano Stabellini of Citrix is one of the developers working on Xen for ARM. This morning he pushed a new set of Xen patches that are still deemed a work-in-progress.
While not yet ready for mainlining, Stabellini shares, "With this patch series and the corresponding xen patch series applied, I am able to boot a Linux domU with a root filesystem on a xen PV disk." These patches initialize the grant_table and xenbus on ARM along with allowing the blkfront and blkback components to compile and run under ARM. This is Xen virtualization enablement work for ARMv7.
