Open64 5.0 Compiler Release Is Coming Up

Over the night in the Open64 trunk code-base, the version numbering was changed from 4.2 to 5.0. Open64 5.0 is the next major release of this open-source compiler. It's confirmed by this email.
Open64 5.0 should be released in the near future. Open64 5.0 was supposed to be released on 31 October, but it seems they are running a bit behind. The 5.0 release brings interiror pointer translation optimizations and other work. There's likely some AMD Bulldozer architecture optimizations too; the first compiler benchmarks of the FX-8150 Bulldozer will be published on Phoronix this week.
