Linux 3.3 Kernel Officially Released
The Linux 3.3 kernel release announcement can be found on LKML.org. This release is coming one week late due to the surprise -rc7 release.
As far as the top features are concerned for Linux 3.3, read the aptly-named Top Features Of The Linux 3.3 Kernel. There's also a long list of changes for this new kernel release on KernelNewbies.org.
With 3.3 out the door, the merge window for the Linux 3.4 kernel is now open. There's already a lot building up for Linux 3.4 with many open-source graphics changes, more Android merging, Btrfs LZ4 support, and lots of other work that will be talked about on Phoronix in the next few weeks.
