Linux 3.3-rc5 Kernel Is Pretty Boring

Linus Torvalds released the Linux 3.3-rc5 kernel this weekend. Overall, "it's been pretty boring, which is just how I like it."

Linus would have liked this fifth release candidate of the Linux 3.3 kernel to be even calmer than it was, but overall he thinks this weekly kernel snapshot turned out well. There's updates to the Btrfs file-system, SCSI / media drivers, and "various noise elsewhere."
