Intel Just Queued Up More Graphics Changes For The Linux 4.4 Kernel

The latest pile of Intel DRM graphics driver changes include Fastboot being enabled by default for select hardware, more workarounds for Intel Broxton and Skylake graphics hardware, frame-buffer compression improvements, fixed HDMI hot-plug detection, and various other internal code reworks and bug-fixes.
More details on the new Intel DRM changes targeting Linux 4.4 can be found via this mailing list pull request. Linux 4.4 is looking to be another exciting release, albeit it still won't be officially getting underway with the merge window and release candidates for at least another month.
