Ioquake3 Needs Some Help
Following last month's ioquake3 security issue, the project has been reassessing their state of security and could use some help on that front as well as other matters.
This long-standing open-source project around the id Tech 3 code-base needs more development assistance. When security updates do come up, one of their issues they face right now is it's not trivial always for ioquake3-based games to pick up the revised files. There isn't a way to get the ioquake3 changes into games automatically, ioquake3 doesn't have modernized installers, and similar infrastructure problems to overcome.
So Ioquake3 is in need of macOS/Windows/Linux install experts, help for documentation writing, and help with bug triaging, among other topics.
