Intel P-State Gets More Cleanups & Optimizations

On Monday, Rafael published another patch series for tuning P-State. This latest set of 16 patches is about further clean-ups and optimizations to the P-State scaling driver. The changes this round are aiming to reduce the overhead of this driver.
Those interested in testing can grab the latest patches here. It will be interesting to do a P-State vs. ACPI CPUFreq driver comparison and different governor tests when Linux 4.12 rolls around -- hopefully all of these P-State changes allow it to be in better shape.
