Intel Sends In A Second Batch Of Graphics Driver Updates For Linux 4.9

The latest batch of Intel DRM driver changes that are now queued up for in turn landing with Linux 4.9 include atomic mode-setting fixes, GuC submission improvements, GGTT improvements, prep work for multi-plane framebuffers, GEM tracking changes, tuning to the command parser, frame-buffer compression changes, and other low-level graphics driver changes.
Much of this work was led by Intel's Chris Wilson with being responsible for 102 of the patches while the other developers were responsible for just about 40 of these patches. A complete list of changes can be found via this dri-devel message. Expect more Intel DRM material to still land in the weeks ahead for hitting the Linux 4.9 merge window.
