The Intel Changes For Linux 4.3

The DRM changes landed in Linux 4.3 already and we've written about the prominent changes for these kernel graphics drivers for the next Linux kernel release.

In case you missed our many Phoronix articles in recent weeks talking about DRM-Next and the DRM pull request that landed last week, Daniel Vetter of Intel's Open-Source Technology Center has written his traditional blog post covering the Intel i915 DRM changes at length for this next version of the Linux kernel.

The Intel changes again include Skylake support by default, legacy mode-sets use the new atomic mode-setting code, 12bpc support for HDMI, improved frame-buffer compression, various Skylake and Cherryview improvements, Broxton improvements, and various other changes.
