GTK+ 3.89.1 Released As First Development Step Towards GTK4

Matthias Clasen tagged the release today of GTK+ 3.89.1 as the first development snapshot leading towards GTK+ 4.0.

This early GTK4 development code merges the GTK Scene Kit (GSK) with widgets rendering to GskRenderNodes and then drawn via OpenGL, GTK+ is installed now as a single shared library, various APIs have been removed, many new APIs added and some existing APIs extended, GtkInspector has added a frame recorder with frame-by-frame playback, HiDPI support on Windows, better OpenGL support on Windows, and dozens of bug fixes along with a ton of code improvements.

Expect more changes to come as GTK+ 4.0 development continues. Of course, most exciting so far is finally the landing of GSK. More details on GTK+ 3.89.1 via this Git commit.
