GNOME Shell 3.26.1 Fixes Headless Mode

GNOME 3.26.1 is shaping up to be a decent point release as besides Mutter finally picking up the half-tiling mode improvements, GNOME Shell 3.26.1 also has its share of changes.

Among the changes in GNOME Shell 3.26.1 include allowing search providers to not autostart, more consistent window group switching, better legibility of the top bar when translucent, GNOME Shell will no longer crash when logind isn't present, and fixes for running GNOME Shell in headless mode. The fixes for allowing GNOME Shell to run in a headless mode without any physical display attached is documented via this bug report.

GNOME 3.26.1 is expected to be officially announced today or tomorrow.
