Foobnix Music Player Ported To GTK3
For those in need of a new open-source music player, Foobnix is GPLv3-licensed, written in Python, and with its newest release has been ported to using the GTK3 tool-kit.
Foobnix supports playback of all popular file format types, online music search and listen for free, Internet radio streaming, and many other features, though it's not quite as advanced as say VLC or Rhythmbox.
The Foobnix 3.0 release happened last week and was ported to GTK3, uses GStreamer's 1.0 audio back-end, provides thread safety improvements, stability improvements, and has various other changes, though it did drop the video player functionality.
