Flatpak 0.8.3 Released, Can Now Work With NVIDIA's Linux Driver
With the release of Flatpak 0.8.3, this open-source sandboxing tech is a bit more suited for Linux gaming.
Alex Larsson has announced the release of Flatpak 0.8.3 and it back-ports some changes from master, including the ability to allow Flatpak to work out-of-the-box with out-of-tree OpenGL drivers. Namely this updated OpenGL support in Flatpak will help out those running the AMDGPU-PRO or NVIDIA proprietary drivers on their systems with being able to make use easily of OpenGL-using applications/games in Flatpak form.
Flatpak 0.8.3 also has better error handling, respecting required versions for runtimes, improved progress reporting in some areas, and various fixes.
