While Fedora 27 did away with alpha releases, now it's time for the beta but it is yet another release setback by at least one delay.

Fedora 27 was supposed to ship next week but is now being pushed back another week as the developers deemed it not suitable for shipping yet due to outstanding bugs.

The Fedora 27 Beta is now expected to slip by one week to 26 September.

The good news is they preemptively had built in a one week buffer into the Fedora 27 schedule, so it's now shipping on its "rain date" and there is still a chance of Fedora 27 shipping on time.

If no further delays occur, Fedora 27 will ship on 24 October otherwise 31 October, assuming no major bug blocker delays.

Confirmation of the Fedora 27 Beta delay was posted to Fedora devel.
