Fedora 24 Alpha Benchmarks
With trying out Fedora 24 Alpha this week and it going well, I decided to run a few benchmarks on the same system to see how the performance compared to Fedora 23.
Keep in mind that Fedora 24 is still months away from being released and currently does ship with some debug options, but nevertheless is an interesting look to see how Fedora 24 Alpha is comparing to Fedora 23 out-of-the-box and then when applying all stable release updates.
All of the same hardware/settings were used during testing and relying upon all of the Fedora shipped packages.
There are some slowdowns, at least at this pre-release stage with Fedora 24.
Radeon graphics are faster in some tests.
With GCC 6 there might be some regressions...
Yep, some tests are slower with GCC 6 on Fedora 24.
