GNOME 3.16 On Fedora 22: Wayland vs. X.Org

While the GDM log-in manager is now running off Wayland by default where supported, the GNOME Shell desktop experience on Fedora 22 continues to default to the X.Org Server 1.17. (Hopefully for Fedora 23 we'll see Wayland by default where supported...) On Fedora Workstation 22 (and just like Fedora 21), it's easy though to log into the GNOME 3.16 Wayland experience when logging into your user account:
This round of Linux testing is running various fullscreen OpenGL games/applications under GNOME Shell on X11 and then Wayland, which given the current apps are running with XWayland. Similar to past testing, it's basically to look at the out-of-the-box Fedora 22 performance and current (X)Wayland overhead.
