EXT4 Gets Fixed Up Along With Other File-Systems & Storage Code For Linux 4.5
Ted Ts'o sent in today the EXT4 pull request for Linux 4.5. There isn't anything really exciting here but just a number of fixes, including EXT4 encrypted fixes and project quota support.
Dave Chinner meanwhile sent in a second XFS update to complement the earlier XFS Linux 4.5 changes. The second serving of XFS changes include fixes along with promoting of the XFS_IOC_FS[GS]ETXATTR to the VFS level so it can be shared with other file-systems.
Aside from our other Linux 4.5 merge window coverage, some other work coming in recently has been various block driver updates that include improved BCache stability. There have also been LightNVM fixes for this feature that landed in Linux 4.4. Lastly, there's also been more NVMe updates.
