ET: Legacy Continues Making Progress On Free, Modern Art Assets For Enemy Territory
ET: Legacy for years has been revising the ioquake3-based engine used by Enemy Territory and adding new features and even an OpenGL 3 renderer while currently ET: Legacy is bound to using the original game assets for the game that are protected by an EULA. But recently they have been working to recreate new assets that are modern and can be freely redistributed.

The ET: Legacy crew has been sharing some teasers the past few months of their work on new art assets while on Friday they shared a big update on their recreation of ET's "Bergen" map. They are doing quite an accurate job recreating the original content of Enemy Territory while having some visual improvements and some usability improvements to the map/game-play too.
