With the open-source Wine 1.8 release just around the corner, CodeWeavers announced this morning the immediate release of CrossOver 15.0 for Linux and OS X systems for running the latest Windows applications.

CrossOver 15 is powered by Wine 1.8 and thus shares the many changes to find in this release like the PulseAudio support, the start of Direct3D 11 support, and countless other alterations.

Additionally, CrossOver 15 on Linux brings a brand new user-interface, the CrossOver Software Installer has been rewritten to be simpler and easier to use, and there is support for new Windows applications. One of the newly-supported applications is Quicken 2016 for getting ready for next year's business.

CrossOver 15.0 is available for purchase from CodeWeavers.com.
