Black Mesa Is Now Available For Linux Gamers

If you are looking for some Linux gaming this weekend, Black Mesa was recently released in early form for Linux / SteamOS.

Black Mesa is the third-party re-make of Half-Life re-built using the Source Engine and introduced to Steam Early Access in May of 2015. Black Mesa has been in development for quite a number of years and has been reviewed rather favorably.


With Black Mesa's Halloween update released on Thursday, there is a Linux client beta of this Source game. Details via this announcement. Black Mesa is currently on sale for 60% off, putting it at just $7.99 USD.
