Beignet 1.1.1 Released, Still No Signs Of Intel Linux OpenCL 2.0 Nearing Reality

The Intel China developers have released the newest point release of Beignet for open-source OpenCL acceleration on Linux for Intel HD/Iris Graphics hardware.

Beignet 1.1.1 is the new release and comes a few months after Beignet 1.1. Today's Beignet 1.1.1 release adds support for dumping the generated Assembly to a file, calculating appropriate timestamps for the CL profile, and various fixes.

Beignet 1.1.1 is available from Intel's 01.org project site.

Sadly, there isn't anything new to report with Beignet progress on OpenCL 2.0. While Beignet has been working towards OpenCL 2 support, their "OpenCL20" code branch hasn't been touched now in eight weeks. At least though Beignet Git master is still getting improved with various ongoing work.
