Tux, Say Hi To Apple's macOS "Sierra"

The macOS Sierra release is due out this fall and is an evolutionary upgrade to OS X El Capitan. MacOS Sierra is bringing Siri voice AI assistant to the desktop, tabs to more applications, the ability to unlock your Mac when walking up to it with your connected Apple Watch, a universal clipboard to share your copy/paste between your desktop and iPhone, improved syncing between desktops, and more.
Overall, it's not a huge update but there are some interesting additions for Apple fans -- like finally having more of the OS X apps support in-application tabs. Of course, the only reason I wrote this post about macOS Sierra is a quick briefer for those wondering what the various Linux desktops have to compete against from the Apple camp later this year. When macOS Sierra is out, I'll be working on some fresh OSX/macOS vs. Linux benchmarks!
