Yes, It Looks Like Alien Isolation Is Coming Soon For Linux

There's many wanting the game for Linux but there hasn't been an official announcement yet. Since the Catalyst 15.9 release notes mentioning Alien: Isolation, which have since been redacted on the AMD site, many Phoronix readers have written in with excitement.
It shouldn't be too surprising given that there's been Linux entries for the game on SteamDB going back a number of months. It also appears that Feral Interactive is doing the port: the presumed page yields a 403 error rather than their 404 landing page.
Stay tuned and Alien: Isolation will probably be out before you know it! Alien: Isolation was released for Windows in 2014 and this action adventure video game is powered by a new, custom engine developed by Creative Assembly. The only question I have now is can I benchmark it?
