APT 1.3 Released For Debian Linux Distributions
APT 1.3 is now available as the newest version of this Debian command-line package manager.
APT 1.3 features initial support for the EIPP protocol (External Installation Planner Protocol), progress reporting improvements, better handling around Tor/onion connections, socks5h proxy support for HTTP, APT's old build system was removed in favor of CMake, EDSP (External Dependency Solver Protocol) improvements, and a range of other work.
APT 1.3 is now available via the unstable repository. Those wanting to dig further into the APT 1.3 changes can go through its Git repository.
