PHPStan will flag any value that is incorrect so that shouldn't be an issue. I can help with setting up a GitHub Action that runs PHPStan one every commit/PR...

I was disapointed by phan/phan it had lots of false positives, requires php extensions and overall just didn't work as well as the others.

For DevilutionX I saw 0 difference when applying PGO so it's not always a given that it will help.
