I'm testing this new release under Ubuntu 9.10 and compiz segfaults, specially if you load another GLX app and then close it like glxgears.

Yes, you put "SWCurosr" in the wrong Device section. It should be in 'aticonfig-Device[0]-0'....

With SWCursor, Xorg doesn't freeze, however it shows corruption around the cursor if AIGLX composition is enabled. Add this to the "Device"...
