As Kamikaze said, Raspberry Pi is ARMv6. Debian has two arm versions... one with ISA v4 and software float, and another that is ISA v7 with hardware float....

for me it is working fine. 2 monitors in a 7970. But I use gnome-shell classic with no effects. (I do not like composite effects...)...
