Unfortunately not - it just crashes and then relaunched without compositing,

it's saying that compositing couldn't load/start

...

kwin_x11 and compositing still broken,

also settings of kwin_x11 crash immediately upon attempted launch

Compositing for kwin_x11 is STILL BROKEN,
systemsetting5 still crashes when "desktop effects" is selected,
kwin_x11 STILL CRASHES...

stability issues, multi-minute stalls of X, kwin compositing crashing & settings for it (systemsettings5)...

even with compiz and export __GL_YIELD=NOTHING
