I find that a balanced decision.
It's fine to do whatever you think is right as long as you make things clear to users of your product....

I did actually have a GT 710 as my daily driver too. It served me very well for a few years on my old PC from 2008, specifically for video decoding....

It's not all about games or 3D rendering in general. There is also video decoding and encoding, compute, and probably other things that I'm not aware...Last edited by idash; 21 May 2021, 10:38 AM.

I actually had the same opinion as yours when I was only looking at GNOME Wayland, which unfortunately gave me a bad first impression about Wayland....

My experience tells me otherwise.
I've been using Wayfire (which is a minimal Wayland compositor) with a mix of GNOME and Xfce applications...Last edited by idash; 30 April 2021, 12:02 AM.

I use Wayfire full time with XWayland disabled, which means that anything that does not support Wayland natively wouldn't even start, and it's a pure...
