It's directory based. You could literally apply `chattr +F /` if you wanted. There is nothing stopping you....

This is all just flat out wrong. Basically none of vkd3d-proton is upstreamed ever and saying that "it's just a bunch of hacks" is pretty infuriating...

I did that work and I'm not aware of any glitches at all (aside from the typical Vulkan being broken on Intel Windows).
