sorry for bumping this old thread... but AFAIK you need a motherboard that supports Pcie Atomics in all of it's slots to use the newer amdgpu pro opencl...

I never had any benchmark that was slower on zen or liquorix. I fired up the benchmarks and noticed some slowdown on Shadow Of the Tomb Raider as well...

for what is worth I own 200 hundred games all of them run on linux, half of them are proton games. but yeah I agree if someone has like 6 thousands games...

imho the problem here is that some of this behaviour is mirrored by GPU drivers, where memory is short
