Ok found the 1.7 instructions. So completly removed the old 4.11-180 kernel and all ROCm libraries, and tried to install the DKMS version on top of Ubuntu...

Any update on this? 1.6-180 is still the latest version on Ubuntu 16.04 using your ROCm repo....

I think most of his frustrations are from the wasted OpenGL efforts over the years on linux, with OpenCL efforts only recently gaining steam. I agree...Last edited by jstefanop; 30 October 2017, 05:28 PM.

Can you confirm this on die security is verifying the BIOS, and any changes to it (PP Table parameters for example) will cause Vega not to boot?...

Yea my initial attempts at modifying Vega BIOS caused the card not to boot. So I guess this is why....
