Qbs is one of the projects that should not exist at all.

Qbs was created because the Qt devs are apparently unable to support/maintain their previous attempt in creating a build system: qmake. They behave like the Qt devs always behave: Instead of fixing well documented bugs and shortcomings, they jump on a new project trying to "do everything better from scratch". (QSA, QtScript, QML, QtQuick, QtMultimedia, QtXML etc.)

IMHO it would make more sense if they would concentrate their efforts to support other build systems like CMake and Muon. After a couple of first attempts to use Qbs, I really doubt that this will ever become something useful.

      >Qbs continues to be focused on offering faster build times and greater features over qmake

Also, Qbs files are understood more easily, etc.
