    needs a new threading library, npth, by the gnupg folks, 'cause the open source world has not yet enough threading libraries: https://t2-project.org/packages/npth :-/

      Maybe it's due to it's nature that many threading libraries are worked on in parallel ... ok ok, I'm leaving already.

        Something as security critical as GnuPG would be a great candidate for a rewrite in Rust (gradually of course, one piece at a time)

            They also published a prerelease of gpg4win with improved outlook-support: https://wiki.gnupg.org/Gpg4win/Testversions on August 24th
            http://lists.wald.intevation.org/pip...st/000072.html mentions a final release is due end of august.
