Using 64-bit Linux Mint 17.3 with 4.6.1 kernel and GCC 6.1.1 installed. Having the following result when trying to install 6.4.0 version:
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of phoronix-test-suite:
phoronix-test-suite depends on the package php-cli; however:
The package php-cli is not installed.
phoronix-test-suite depends on the package php-gd; however:
The package php-gd is not installed.
phoronix-test-suite depends on the package php-xml; however:
The package php-xml is not installed.
phoronix-test-suite depends on the package php-json; however:
The package php-json is not installed.

Could not find these dependencies from repositories even I have allowed several additional repos...

Wouldn't it be an idea to offer a PPA repository where all dependencies are solved?
Or there are many other ways, e.g. AppImage (http://appimage.org/), Snappy (https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/snappy/), Docker (https://www.docker.com/) etc.

Install php5-cli.... I repackaged these binaries for Ubuntu 16.04 as people were complaining that the old binaries didn't work there. So spun these for Ubuntu 16.04.
