    With Linux 3.18-rc1 having came one week early, the EXT4 file-system pull request didn't end up landing until today. However, the EXT4 changes aren't overly exciting for the 3.18 merge window...

    Seems to be than there is not much more to do related to EXT4 other than bug fixes.

      Um what did you expect then? They haven't been designing any new features, have they? Maybe some algorithm optimizations are available, but not any bigger plans.
