    So the ressl API disregards use cases such as application specific CA certificates or the use of client certificates?
    Too lazy to dig through the API, but what the post said ("You want a secure connection? We give you a secure connection") sounded very much like it.

      The API doesn't exist yet - or rather, isn't documented yet, since they're still working on it. In any case, I highly doubt that's what they mean, since those are very obvious usecases for a library like LibreSSL. The goal isn't reduction of capabilities, it's increasing abstraction. I don't have to understand how a X.509 exchange works under the hood to do one.
