    Am I understanding this correctly in that it allows implementing block devices into user space, like fuse does for file systems?

      Would this make it easier for Nvidia proprietary drivers to access IO_uring given you can now access from userspace?

          axboe Is it possible to use this on the root fs? Maybe by moving the daemon to a kthread and convert libata / nvme drivers to use it?
