It doesn't look like the API has been worked on in awhile. Doesn't look like the API is integrated into this release, yet.

      Zheap usage

new heap with in-place update, powered by undo, for eventual integration into PostgreSQL - EnterpriseDB/zheap

PostgreSQL is great, just look at the SQL compliance and compare it to other databases, it is packed with features and supports more features from the SQL standard than most other databases.

I am sure it is technically great, maybe the best database there is. But they need to drop this vanity PostgreSQL License, yes I know it is FSF-approved and OSI-approved so it is a true free open source software license, but it still a vanity license, and they should use one of the more established and popular ones such as the 2-clause BSD License or the ISC License.

They should fix the messy, inconsistent userspace with some tools named with pg_ prefix, some named with pg prefix, and some named without any prefix and just merge it all into one command.

Maybe have some good, easy to use, cross-platform GUI tool.

Why should they change the license? What does it stop you from doing?

But even if they wanted to, they probably couldn't. POSTGRES was copyrighted to The Regents of the University of California, and PostgreSQL inherits some of that code. Not to mention that they don't have a CLA so it would be a massive undertaking to get all copyright owners to agree.

Maybe have some good, easy to use, cross-platform GUI tool.
Plenty of those around, pgAdmin, TOra, HeidiSQL and so on.

Well to be honest that compliance table is kinda weird, there are lots of columns filled with "unknown" for Microsoft SQL, MySQL and SQLite where they all clearly have compliance/support.

No idea how to get that up and running. It brands itself as "the most popular and feature rich Open Source administration and development platform for PostgreSQL" and its not even packaged and available in Ubuntu. If this is the best the PostgreSQL community has to offer, then yikes!

You're free to edit the article if you can improve it. Wikipedia likes having references to backup statements though many databases are shy in their documentation when it comes to stating how compliant they are. Many databases also have quite similar functionality but implemented in a non-standard way.
