    Toward the end of March was the AMD ROCm 4.1 release with a few new features. Released today is ROCm 4.1.1 with seemingly no real code changes but just to clarify two items around ROCm's HIP...

      Too late. Too limited. Too unsupported.

      AMD can do it A LOT BETTER than this. It's a very pathetic and depressive software stack.

      Also, put dollars in top end open source software such as Blender and others used by scientists.

          Which cards are RDNA2 ?

          My 6800xt works from 4.1.0 with OpenCL though it fails on my VII card.
