I got Remmina hardware accelerated rendering (via Lima) on NanoPi-M1 just a couple of days ago - works as fast as RPi3B

So I want to thank Lima developers for their effort. Before Lima, Panfrost, Adreno, Etenviv, v3d (and other project I may forgot) graphics on ARM was truly painful, to the point where I preferred unaccelerated framebuffer, simply because it was more stable than proprietary blobs.

Good thing now we don't have to choose between performance and stability.

Lima is now more advanced than Nouveau when it comes to automatic runtime powermanagement... (I would really like to see this implemented for old Nvidia GPUs. The soon completely incompatible 340xx (Geforce 8000m/9000m/200m) binary driver is on its last legs.

I was thinking on Pinephone too. Te community is doing amazing improvements to the point where we can seriously talk about a GNU/Linux smartphone for daily use.

There are still in fault the last bits.. The userspace stacks,
When everything packaged and in place , it will be very nice indeed
