Michael Small correction: it’s GCC Toolset 9.1, not GCC 9.1. We already have that with GCC Toolset 9. This is updating that to GCC 9.2.1.

Additionally, the other developer toolsets are being upgraded to LLVM 9.0.0, Golang 1.13.4, and Rust 1.39.0. For Python 3.8, it is an installable module alongside the current Python 3.6 which will remain supported for the entirety of the RHEL 8 lifecycle.

If all goes as planned, this should be released around May in following with the 6 month minor release schedule for RHEL 8.

    Cheers,
    Mike
